On May 13th I booked ticket for Movie “Radhe” for 9pm to 12 show. I had made the payment through Paytm. Msg received as “Paid Rs.249 to Bharti Telemedia Ltd from Paytm.” I also received Msg from 121 as “Your airtel digital tv online recharge Txn ID 210513319966 of Rs.249 has been initiated. Please keep the txn id for future reference.

I have been provided Channel 269 for watching the movie. At 9pm the certification of movie has been displayed and after 15 seconds the movie stopped and the msg started displaying that if you want to view the movie, kindly give a missed call to  8800388006 or book ticket using the Airtel App or Visit www.airtel.in/dth/zeeplex.

I started calling the customer support number 0124 4448080 on Friday 14th may 21 at 08:19am. I have been assured that my Rs.249 shall be refunded to me by evening 4pm on 14th May-21. I received no call or no messages. Again  I called the above number on Saturday 15th May-21 at 5:37PM. I was again assured that I shall be refunded with the amount deducted for movie by next day 11 am. Again I called the above number on Sunday 16th May-21 at 11:35am. I received same assurance. But still no refund or call back. Again I called the above number on Monday 17th May 4:31PM and my call has been forwarded to Mr. Akshay, the senior supervisor. He had assured me that the refund shall be reaching your airtel d2h accound by 18th May morning 11 am.Till now no refund or call received from airtel.

This shows a very pathetic state of affairs. This is the first complaint by email. If I am not given any response on my email id, I shall be forced to take the issue to higher authorities.

It is my earnest request that the amount deducted for the movie i.e.Rs.249 may be refunded to me at the earliest.
