Yesterday, I got a call from the number 8738978393 claiming she is from Noise,
she told me there is a promo offer for today, where if I purchase items for INR 4999,
I would get 40% cashback. In addition to that, I could choose an additional gift from the following products:
Sony Bravia TV
Dell Inspiron
Apple iPhone
Voltas AC
LG double door fridge
They claimed that offer is from Noise sales and promotion team and they also shared all the details of my last purchage from Noise (Smart watch).
So I trusted them.
they said to open gonoise app on my mobile and select a product of Rs 4999 and take the screen shot and sent to whatapp number 7318425895
and after this they convinced me to open google pay and I made the payment.
After the payment they said sales promotion person will call me and confirm dipatch and then you can search the order ID on noise application as well.
The dispatch guy called from (9554262803) and asked me the order id, I provided the same which they messaged me on whatsapp number.
they said that there is some GST issue that government is not approving using their GSTIN as the invoice for Dell Insipiron laptop, that I chose as gift in my name.
So he insisted me to pay Rs 9844.02 and said I’ll get reimbursed immediately. Mistakenly i made the payment 2 times.
and after sometime she transfer the call to his senior and that guy said they is some issue with IMPS transfer transction getting declied from their end and
as a alternative option he will do the RTGS transfer and for this they to mantain a account balance of Rs 60000, then I kept the same amount
as they said. Again I made multiple payments thru google pay until my account balance is nill.
They fraud me total Rs 85,183.22 with multiple transctions.
My concern is without any support from Noise or data leaked by them how did those people know about my order history my address and all other personal details because that is one of the major reason I thought it was authentic.
I would request the noise team to the investigate this and help me to get my money back.
