Text of Complaint by Kashifa Khursheed:

I recharged my own number instead of recharging my mother’s number. After waiting for some time, I noticed that the pack details weren’t reflecting on my Airtel app. I waited for another day and it was the same. I mailed 121@airtel.com regarding the same issue. I had even sent them a screenshot. I requested them to provide me with the service on my phone number or give me a refund for it. They mailed me that they’ve processed the refund with so and so ARN number and transaction id. I called my bank today and got to know that the ARN number is invalid. It has been 15 days now and there’s no sign of a refund or service on my phone.

Here are the mails we exchanged:

I haven’t received any assistance yet. Nor am I able to access the service. Can you please refund my money? Because the service isn’t there for what I had to pay.

I had accidentally paid for an unlimited pack of 86 days. But till now I couldn’t access the service. I would like to have my refund. Could you please process it soon?
I’m just going to file a complaint against you guys. Very bad assistance. And no service is available even after paying 598 Rs.

I didn’t receive a refund yet. Please send it soon.

I contacted my bank with the ARN number and I got to know that it is invalid. The amount is not reflecting in my account even now.

There is no service on my mobile number too. I paid Rs. 598 for nothing. Please debit the amount. Or I’m just going to file a complaint against Airtel.

  1. Payment of Rs. 399.0 attempted via Airtel Thanks App through Debit Card has failed. Order Id : 6741945676356812800. If money has been deducted, please wait for 2-7 days for a refund or contact your bank.
