Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I am writing to formally address the ongoing issues I have faced with Stanza Living. It has been over a month since I vacated the Stanza-managed apartment, yet I have received no support or resolution from your team. Additionally, the Mumbai team has been unresponsive, and I encountered inappropriate behavior from your P&L Head, Mr. Abhishek Joshi, during a phone conversation.
To provide context, I had taken a Stanza-managed apartment in Amboli, Jogeshwari West, where I was misled by your employee regarding the lock-in period, which was set to six months instead of the three months initially communicated. Furthermore, I was blackmailed for money to allow my guardian to stay with me, despite being assured by your sales team that this was permitted.
Additionally, there were serious safety concerns at the property:
The property manager allowed an unauthorized individual to stay in the apartment without a valid booking or police verification, falsely claiming it was legitimate.
Upon checking in, the apartment was in extremely poor condition:
The walls were blackened.
The floor was covered in dust and trash.
The sofa was torn, and the mattress had holes.
The furniture was broken.
Windows, vents, fans, and air conditioners were covered in dust and had not been serviced.
The water purifier had not been serviced, posing a health hazard.
The Wi-Fi was non-functional, causing significant inconvenience.
Despite raising these concerns with your Head of Operations in Mumbai, Mr. Ashish Kumar, who subsequently took action against the concerned employee, I faced serious repercussions. The dismissed employee resorted to threats, including physical violence and intimidation, standing outside my apartment and explicitly threatening to harm me. When I reported this to Mr. Ashish Kumar, I was simply advised to file a police complaint, with no further assistance from Stanza Living.
To date, I have not received any response or resolution from your company. Additionally, when I requested my refund, I was informed that the lock-in period in the agreement was six months. However, I was originally promised a room in a 4BHK apartment in Andheri East, making the entire agreement invalid and misleading.
I formally demand:
A full refund of the amount I paid to Stanza Living.
An additional ₹8,000 to cover my relocation expenses.
I have attached all relevant proofs to this email. Please note that this is my final attempt to resolve the matter directly with Stanza Living. If I do not receive a response by Wednesday, I will proceed with legal action and file a complaint with the Consumer Court.
I expect an immediate resolution to this matter.
