Please refer to the attached chronological order of my interactions with Amazon India customer care and suggest what next course of action I should follow:-
25/07/2021 – Order 408-5052477-0269949 (OnePlus Nord CE 5G (Charcoal Ink, 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage) placed.
30/07/2021 – Product delivered and found defective, first rapid blinking/flickering of the display and then the display was completely out.
31/07/2021 – Complaint raised for replacement specifically mentioned the problem with the display.
06/07/2021 – Pick up person refused to pick up and deliver new phone as the display was off and he could not check the IMEI no.
06/07/2021 – Complaint raised for refund and courier person denying for pick up. Specially mentioned to customer care personnel to take a note that display of the defective phone is permanently off and IMEI no could not be checked during pick up.
11/07/2021 – Pick up person refused to pick up as the display was off and he could not check the IMEI no.
11/07/2021 – Complaint raised for refund and courier person denying for pick up. Customer care person said that a complaint has been lodged in the special section (complaint no -0581531095). Specially mentioned to customer care personnel to take a note that display of the defective phone is permanently off and IMEI no could not be checked during pick up.
17/07/2021 – No pick up update from Amazon customer care. Again Complaint raised for refund. Specially mentioned to customer care personnel to take a note that display of the defective phone is permanently off and IMEI no could not be checked during pick up.
19/07/2021 – Pick up person refused to pick up as the display was off and he could not check the IMEI no.
