I booked a ticket from HYD to IAD on july 29 for AUG 5. This travel agency booked my ticket via Muscat and London. While booking it never clearly mentioned i need a transit visa. It mentioned i will be responsible for visa and stuff. How can a person knows especially medium knowledgeable guy that he will need a visa and there exsits a transit visa as such all these need to taken care by travelling agency. Also they never clearly mentioned any kinda of visa related stuffs in big words where as stuff like refundable, luggage, price related stuffs in big bold words but the stuffs like immigration and security they havent focused on much. So average price saving indian population like me might think my ticket is booked and would never care of stuffs like immigration and transit visa. This travelling agent kiwi.com books tickets for different airlines on same ticket so when someone have a checked in bags they might have to check in back again during which they might have to cross through immigration. If we dont have a transit visa in that case we will be in big trouble. Im raising This complaint thinking of an middle class family Who might not know of This visa types who’s priority is saving money over a heavy price tickets and there main goal will be booking cheap tickets and we will think of any of such details. And the travelling agents like kiwi.com are taking advantage of This. Also from the date of booking and actual travelling date even if some apply we might not get a transit visa. Then how can these agencies are able to book if we dont have a valid visa. Also they have lot of gamblings with names basic , priority services ,super priority services. I accidently selected a basic so even if i want to cancel a ticket i couldnt cancel and even i cant change my tickets. So basically they said i have to get a transit visa with in 6 days from Oman and UK and If IM not able to get one i have to basically loose my money. So i am one such example and they are playing such games with lot of customers out there. When someone is travelling they will have the destination country visa but they never think of transit countries they are passing through. So i pledge the government to take a serious action against these agencies because if someone travel without knowing they have to face a lot of trouble and immigration is not a joke. Thanks
