Dear team,
This is to let you know that I have had two active policies under Niva Bupa since 2020 for my parents named Mr. Debabrata Majumdar and Mrs. Chandana Majumdar. One is a Reassure plan with a coverage of 5 lacks (policy number 31373733202202) other is a health recharge policy with a coverage of 25 lacks (policy number 31368409202303). My customer ID for the mentioned policy is 1000076550.
The renewal date for the health recharge policy is 14.09.2023 and for the reassure policy is 20.09.2023. Being an existing customer of the company, I have made payments online worth Rs12,751 and 62,908 on 08.09.2023. Immediately I received the policy paper for the health recharge policy but till now I have not received the policy paper for the reassure one.
After talking to several customer care executives over countless days I came to know that there was some technical problem from their side. In the portal, the erroneous premium amount of Rs 62,908 but I was only supposed to pay 58,148.
Therefore, they assured me that they would pay back the remaining amount of Rs 4706 to my original payment method along with the policy within 48 hours. However, till today I have neither received the renewed policy paper for the “Reassured plan” nor the money has been reverted back.
This is completely disappointing for me. They have mentally harassed me a lot. Therefore, I would like to request you, kindly take action against Niva Bupa for harassing the customers and keeping their money without issuing the policy document so that I can get back the extra money which I have paid(as their portal was showing wrong amount) and policy paper soon.
