Hi,
I would like to know why was I charged extra for activating a new prepaid sim that I bought from an Airtel store.
They asked me to pay for the first recharge as it must be done by the store only, but they have not done the recharge for the entire amount, when I called them up, they replied that the remaining amount was ‘sim activation charges’ I don’t know if such a charge exists for a new connection, but this is absurd, and they were relectant to give me a receipt for the same.
Can you please reveal more about this “connection charges”, if any and if there is such charges why does it say that MRP of new sim is only 5/- on the packet that contains the sim card .
