I, a resident of New Panvel, Navi Mumbai started facing network issues on Sunday i.e 06/08/2023 where my voice was getting automatically muted owing to which I connected with Vodafone – Idea (Vi, Telecom operator) on 07/08/23 where I was informed that there’s some outreach in the areas which shall be resolved within next 4 days i.e. by 10/08/2023 by 12:49 pm. I also visited the Vodafone store near me whereby I was informed that since I had already raised a query and my complaint was open they couldn’t help at their end and have to wait for the complaint to be closed. However, to my surprise my network started working fine on the fortnight of 08/08/23 & 09/08/23 but it again started showing glitches from early morning of 10/08/23. I again contacted VI for the same to which they replied saying the issue shall be resolved by the time given under the complaint i.e 12:49pm. However, yet my network had glitches post the time so after having been frustrated over the issue I asked the customer executive to connect me with some senior executive who can address the issue. However, all they had to say was ” they were sorry for the inconvenience and the network team is constantly working upon the issue which shall be resolved within next 7 days”.
Being a huge network company, a simple issue cannot be resolved within the time promised by the company. The network glitch has caused me a huge loss on my personal & professional front since all my work matters are related over phone calls. The company who cannot stand by the words of their own, cannot meet the expectations of the customer as well. It is a huge disappointment as a customer whereby the company reminds you to recharge your pack a week in advance but cannot address the customer complaints.
I’m yet to get my network on track.
