Text of Complaint by PRATIK VYAS:

Dear Team Airtel,

Thanks for the trailing mail & for all the services that you are providing in the market.

I was a happy customer having 4 voice + data connections & 1 data only connection (All are sim based mobile connections under the family plan)

I stay in Nashik & have been using your services since almost more than 1 year.

In the last week from the day of the cycloan ‘Nisarg’ passed through Nashik the internet services & also the mobile connection got affected badly.

Earlier the connection / range was available even in the remotest of place / basement / store room of my house, however, after the cycloan, its 6th day today where we are not able to have the mobile service or internet.

Please note that I have already raised a complaint through IVR / Call center and was assigned an id number 31-3047263340536 on 6th June 2020 at 12.54.31.

I work with a finance company & depend totally on Airtel for voice calls & internet during the work from home situation. I have not worked for my company since last Thursday due to absence of your services.

Hence I request you all to kindly look into restoring the services on an urgent basis, failing which I shall have no other option but to shift my loyalty to some other service provider.

Another important point is about my inquiry for installation of Airtel Xstream Fibre which was raised in the last month, After raising the inquiry through the Airtel Thanks App I got a call almost after 8-10 days, the lady inquired about my details & said that the field team shall contact me soon. subsequently I got an SMS stating my Lead ID – 41-3003135276448.

Sorry to say but there was no response from Airtel there on for more than a fortnight. Subsequently, I personally visited one of your stores to inquire about the lead number given above.

The store representative called up some one who inquired about my address & then said that Airtel does not have services in the locality where I reside. I don’t mind if I was informed about this earlier, but the ‘customer service’ of Airtel here is questionable …. As I believe that even if the answer is NO, the same should be conveyed to the customer in time.

I already have a BSNL Broad band with a basic connection which now just needs to upgrade to a higher speed. Though I felt Airtel would have been a better choice but nevertheless right now any service provider who gives service at my place would have my loyalty.
