Text of Complaint by Jitendra Singh:

Hello Team,

My name is Jitendra Singh, holding an Airtel number.

1st issue:
This is the biggest issue which I have faced. I did recharge for the Work From Home package to have extra GB in one shot. So while I’m copying the data of file size 3.5 GB from the network, it uses my 1.5 GB form daily quota and then just shifted to 300-400 KBPS speed instead of 4G speed data from my WFH pack. I have contacted customer care, he suggested me to switched off the phone and then restart the phone, then I will get 4G speed data from my WFH pack. My concern is that why should I restart my phone as I am copying my 3.5 GB file from my office network. If I restart my phone, then my connection will get lost (SSL VPN connection) and the copy will get interrupted, because of that it will start copying from the beginning, and the same happened even as I followed the customer care. I don’t know what the technical challenges Airtel operators are facing is that they couldn’t maintain the customer’s data pack in sync for ease convenience for their customer but I’m suffering very much. Believe me, I’m wasting my 1.5 GB data from my daily pack and then restarting my phone so that it can consume the data from my WFH pack un-interrupted.

2nd issue:
I have been facing network issues for the last 2-3 months in my room. I’ve placed 3 complaints in this period but no satisfactory results. Please find below complaint details:

C4GSP20720744418 – Raised on 20 July
COGCL20725421984 – Raised on 25 July
Even my plans expired on 31 July but then also I recharged my Airtel number, thinking that network issue will get resolved soon, but still no results.

3rd issue:
After recharging ₹598 from airtel application on 2nd August, I’ve received 6 coupons with 1 GB data from each in My Airtel application, I claimed that but didn’t receive any such benefit in my account. Unfortunately I forgot to take screenshots of that.

I don’t know how Airtel will help me in this, but I’m planning to port out from Airtel on my next recharge.
