I received a whatsapp msg asking to review certain websites on google – JW Marriot – Kolkata, blu Radisson, and some cafes. To get my payment I was asked to join telegram and speak to Ansuya (ofcourse a fake name). They then asked for 30k then 2.2 lakh then 4.4 lakh followed by 20% tax that is 3.5 lakh to withdraw the remaining amount. They did not stop after this and asked for 6lakhs due to some tech issues. The guy kept assuring I will receive my funds and shared fake documents.
Initially they shared the company name as Dentsu (Devchand House, 2nd Floor, Dr Annie Besant Rd, Shiv Sagar Estate, Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400018) and at the end shared a document on neilson media group (4A / 4th floor, Raheja Platinum, Marol CHS Rd, off Andheri – Kurla Road, Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400059). P.S – If you call on the number given on their website, it says wrong number.
We have lodged a complain in CBD belapur police station but the cops and cyber team aren’t able to catch hold of these fraudsters. Kindly help get our 9.5 lakh back. After reading all the reviews here, we’ve noticed WAZIRX has now changed to coins8.net to con more people.
