I order 6 pastry, 2 cheesecake and choco 7 lava cake worth Rs. 1778 on 2nd August 2020. Investing this much amount on an online order was a good idea at that moment since I always trusted swiggy. But when I received an already late order it was devastating. The pastries were there but there was not one chocolate lava cake. It was for some of my cousins so being optimistic about the future outcome once I ordered it I build there hopes up. It was my first experience facing something like this. So I went to the customer service executive hoping for a refund for the least. But they were least helpful in a practical way. I conversed with Rahul.Dey1, Arjun, ruksar, rohan and nishant. None of those customer executives was helpful. I didn’t get any refund since they claimed that the restaurant, as well as the delivery executive, delivered. What they don’t understand is India’s minimum household income and how their customer service is neglecting the basic reason for their existence to help people in need. Swiggy might be founded in India but it’s not for the consumers especially middle class but for the stakeholders and sharemarket. Never been this disappointed by any other food delivery application. I would like to make Swiggy’s owners feel accountable for the actions they take, decisions they make and how a smidge can affect their customers. Along with the fact that their job is to help the consumer.
