MyTrip.com claimed that one or more of my flights were cancelled, kept my money for months, charged me a $30 fee for their assistance in getting my money back, when it came through I was $600 short of what I paid for my flights to and from the UK from New Zealand.
I tried to resolve this issue for months, I have an email thread that is 38 emails back and forth in which they intentionally avoid, provoke, switch staff, modify the same message over and over, refuse to answer questions, refuse to explain the refund and refuse to send a breakdown of the fees and costs which they claim cannot be refunded. I checked with the airlines individually and they validated what I suspected, that MyTrip.com have fabricated this information in order to extort money from tickets they sell which they never owned nor had the right to sell.
Did you ever get a refund from them.
I am in the same position. My flight was “cancelled” and the alternative flights did not suit so I asked for a refund.
I received 1200 usd less. Flight was from London to Las Vegas.
I’m trying to work out where I stand legally on this in UK with them.
