Text of Complaint by Ketaki:

I had ordered 2 My Wifi devices from Airtel couple of days back & along with that 2 Sim cards. I had categorically listed down my required plan for both the sim cards. Although the devices and sim cards were provided to me on 6th June 2020, there are 2 prominent issues which I had highlighted to the staff.

  1. The postpaid plans (only data) which would be used for My Wifi Device which I had earlier asked for was for 50 & 100 GB costing me 399 & 599 accordingly. However when I checked my plan they had added firstly added a Voice Plan giving me 20 & 75 GB per month which was never my ask in the first place. I spoke to couple of representatives who were very helpful at the beginning but as soon as I got my device & sim card no one even bothered to check whether all is working well or if my issue has been resolved. I contacted below 2 representatives against whom I would like to raise complaint:
  2. Deepak
  3. AmbaDas

I wanted my plan to be changed to 599-100GB (only DATA) per month for both my devices, when I was calling Deepak & AmbaDas, Deepak never responded or called back & Ambadas kept on telling me it will be done within 30 minutes which has never happened till date. This is very upsetting and the constant follow up is kind of a mental harassment for me. I have to typically follow up every day twice or thrice in a day just for service. The service from these 2 representatives has been pathetic & beyond repair. I didn’t expect this from such a prestigious brand & I am quite upset due to that. I am not sure who is going to cater to my request of updating the data plan of 100GB per month & when is this going to happen since this is hampering my work too.

  1. I had never asked to port my existing Vodafone number however when I checked my status on Airtel App it was showing that my Vodafone Number is under KYC verification & will be ported.

 

I would want Airtel to do the following:

  1. I want someone to take action on these 2 representatives- Deepak & Ambadas who were not there as soon as I received My Wifi Device & Sim Cards.
  2. Can someone give me a call back & update my plan to (only Data) plan to use my Wi-Fi device. The updated plan which I require is 599 rental and 100GB for both my sim cards- 8828210969 & 7304537887.
  3. Please make sure my port request which is being shown in the app is cancelled or removed.

This surely has been upsetting & a very bad experience. Also following up thrice daily has become a nuisance now.  Please I need someone to take an action on my issue before it escalates further.
