My Local ISP and Airtel.
I booked my airtel xtream fiber on 25th Dec 2020 with 3months advance payment, as per airtel guy the connection should have been installed in 6 days so, i waited. After few days the installation guys visited, asking whether i have any other internet connection. I said, Yes i have Local ISP connection installed (JMD).
The installation guys said we cannot install your connection because i am already using a JMD connection. Also got to know that the installation guys were also from JMD. I said i will talk to someone in higher position, to which those guys replied, yes you can get it installed somehow but in future you will get issues like wire being cut oftenly due to competition between ISP’s and they left.
I called everyone possible, but no outcome i raised a complaint on airtel customer care, the next day received a call from technician regarding my complaint, but he also declined, saying we cannot install your connection, upon asking found that this guy was also from JMD and the hung up the call saying either go talk to someone at JMD office or Airtel we cannot help you.
Next day got a msg that my Complaint was closed saying your issue has been resolved. So i reopened my request.
I have talked to the customer care multiple times, with no positive results.
Also Mr. Aditya who is manager at airtel office near our locality, also ignoring my problem and stopped picking up my calls.
Due to this ISP mafia going on in my locality, I’m pretty sure airtel is at loss.
Airtel should have provided their own technicians other than hiring person who are loyal to the local ISP and making such business partners.
My problem still remains, if not resolved i will take refund.
Really poor service by Airtel.
