Dear All ,
Please find the ATTACHMENT screenshots . . This LIVSPACE ( home interior designs e commerce ) is a SERIAL OFFENDER and has been repeatedly warned by HON COURT ( consumer courts ) multiple times . . But livspace ( HOME INTERIOR DESIGNS ECOMMERCE P LTD ) continues to be repeated offender . . It is time the Hon Courts award exemplary compensation in MULTI CRORES instead of awarding token compensations . . Companies like Livspace will not mend their ways & continue to cheat customers if EXEMPLARY ACTION against the company is not taken by Hon courts . .
Some of the cases against Livspace are ;
Ms. Shipra Rana v/s livspace ,
Vinay Wadred v / s LIVSPACE ,
mukesh KATIPAMULA v/s livspace . .
These are among scores of consumer case where LIVSPACE has been found guilty . . There are many times that the company has been FOUND GUILTY . . There may be hundreds of other cases not reported by consumers . .
Please help me recover my money of ₹ 5 0 0 0 0 , and launch a case of cheating ( 4 2 0 section 420 ) & fraud on the company officials including COMPANY MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY . . They should now not just RETURN / refund my money but the company should now be asked to pay compensation ( fine & penalty ) . . The COMPENSATION or DAMAGES amount should be exemplary ( of more than i.e., in excess of ₹ 2 Cr ) so that companies do not try to harass customers in future . . Companies will think twice before indulging in such FRAUDS or fraudulent activity . .

I will be pleased to donate the money for making consumer forum & consumer courts stronger in future to protect consumer rights . .

* INFORMATION for RECORD * :
The NEWTOWN PS summoned the LIVSPACE team on 22.01.2026. . They wanted to have a face to face discussion with me ( i.e., with the customer / client ) . . Accordingly , the P S called me on my phone to find a mutually convenient time . . I agreed to visit the PS to meet the Livspace team on 2 4 . 0 1 . 2 0 2 6 . . Hence, I reached the NEW TOWN PS on 24th JANUARY 2026 around 11 am . .
Ms. MAYITREE TITIR from LIVSPACE was already present there with one lawyer of the company ( representing Livspace ) . .
The IC ( i c of the PS ) first asked whether the matter can be settled amicably through discussions . .
The LIVSPACE TEAM represented by Ms. Mayitree Titir , offered to return the booking amount of Rs. 50000 /- in coupons ( COUPON OF LIVSPACE ) . . But I did not agree to any such proposal of COUPONS against my money of RUPEES FIFTY THOUSAND , knowing how the company is expert at duping customers . . Without getting the complete details including the TERMS & CONDITIONS t&c of the coupons , it would be foolish to agree to any such coupon proposal . . It may just be a ploy of this fraud company to make me withdraw my police complaint ( 420 cheating complain ) . . I also pointed out the following points to Livspace :
1 ) LIVSPACE did not disclose any of its company policy before taking Rs. 50,000 /- from me ( as booking amount or as advance payment ) . . Can Livspace show any email or whatsapp where they have informed the customer , that they will not return or refund any money once they receive it from the customer ( did the company give any such information before taking the money of ₹ 5 0 0 0 0 /- from the client ) ? ?
2 ) In any case even if LIVSPACE have such a policy of NOT RETURNING or NOT REFUNDING money to the client even on CANCELLATION , then such policy is illegal and violates the consumer laws of the country . . LIVSPACE is bound to REFUND & RETURN any money received as BOOKING AMOUNT or ADVANCE PAYMENT in case the customer decides to CANCEL . .
3 ) Did the CLIENT ( CUSTOMER ) sign any contract with LIVSPACE ? ? Has the company received a signed WORK ORDER or any order from me ? ? If I had given a SIGNED order to Livspace yet ? ? is
4 ) why did livspace & / or its employees commit the fraud of asking me to pay Rs. 50000 /- as booking amount ( advance amount ) . . Was the employee not aware that the booking amount or advance amount as per the company policy is just Rs. 15000 ? ? The customer got this information after he had already paid Rs. 50000 to the company as advance booking . .
Regarding the REFUND of Rs. 50000 /- to me , Ms. Mayitree Titir sought some time as she has to take permission from higher authorities & higher officials of the company to issue refund ( in any other form other than coupons ) . . For refunding ₹ 50000 in FORM OF COUPONS , she was agreeable but I rejected the offer without knowing the DETAIL T & C of the COUPON OFFER . .
Hence , it was agreed that Ms. Mayitree T needed time till 31/01/2026 to get permission from higher authorities of the. company . . Accordingly , Ms. M Titir gave a letter to the PS ( I C ) in writing seeking time till 3 1 . 0 1 . 2 0 2 6 . ( SATURDAY ) , failing which I can take appropriate steps including filing case at CONSUMER COURT , consumer forum , which can then give direction to the PS for the further course of action . .

however , obviously I cannot spend more than 5000 to recover 50000 . . However , if I win any compensation from the company , then 3 0 % to 35% of the compensation ( damage ) awarded will be given to you . . Even 40 % compensation ( damages ) amount will be shared with you if your legal team can extract ₹ 1 crore in compensation . .
