I am a very old customer of mpokket. I started using mPokket when my limit was 2000/-. Because of my regular payments, mpokket increased my limit from 2000 to 20000/-. I was working in a private company with minimal salary in Bangalore. But in 2021 I got affected by COVID and spent 1.5 Lac on hospital expenditure because government hospitals were running out of beds. And I borrowed this amount from people. Even after that I never failed to make mpokket payment. but when I lost my job I came to my native and failed to pay the EMI on time. I borrowed 20k excluding the processing fee.
And I got the message from mPokket to pay 43592/-(Overdue amount) for 147(earliest overdue days count). Which is more then double of principle amount around 23% p.m. I spoke with customer support and was told I am not in the position to pay this amount I can pay the principal amount. If want you can visit my home to see the condition. But the agent told me if I can’t repay the loan why did you take the money and disconnected the call.
I am just requesting mPokket stop calling my contact where I am pretty much contactable on whatsapp/call. And requesting that I can pay only 20k which I have to arrange because already has many debts.
