I shortlisted pg property in goregaon West through magic bricks.Com. The owner name was pankaj singh bhadauria, Contact No:+919773400930 After speaking to him he asked to transfer 2000 rupees as refundable deposit to make visiting card to check the property personally. He shared his UPI QR in the name of mr nitish prakash tated and i did the transfer in 2000. After doing the transfer he confirmed that he has received the payment and his manager will call me for further visiting card process. After 15 minutes i received a call from his office manager , Contact no. 070248 96628, for my personal details and he asked me to transfer Rs. 6099 again for a visiting card and said that this amount will be credited back to my account in a minute. I told him that the owner has not conveyed this to me and i called back the owner again to check on this. The owner also stated that yes you need to do the payment and it will be credited back to your account immediately. I refused and asked to refund my 2000 deposit. He said he will talk to his manager and get back to me I had taken both of them in a conference call so owner asked me to pay 6099 after talking with manager and when I asked for my 2000 they refused to pay as all process are done for visiting card now we can not refund your 2000 I need to pay 6099 otherwise they file a police complaint on me. received a call from him stating that you will get your refund in some time.
Then I checked online for such fraud in Mumbai and I saw there are few similar complaints registered on different platforms where such PG Owners have duped money from several other people like me. Every day too many people face this problem and lose their money but no one cares about this. Please help me to get my money back which I can borrow from my friend to survive in Mumbai as I have no money. Please help me I have all the proofs audio recording screenshot and addhar card of the owner which I don’t know about original or fake. They also collect my adhar card and passport size photo to be missed. Pl do the needful
