First I received a call from a no. Offering me a 20000-25000 salaried job for a captcha work , which will be work from home only, nobody will reject the offer… so I got convinced. After few minutes the same guy called and said that you will be receiving call from my legal team please dont ask or argue with them and just reply yes to all the questions asked for verification, I said ok no issues I will do the same. Then after few minutes I received a call from another no. From a girl who asked me few question and at the end said “if you will be unable to complete the captcha work within 10 days , then you will have to refund our amount , I.e. 5000 rs … I got stunned for few second , then I just replied with ” ji ji ” in hind … after that she desperately said that “say yes” not “ji” , at then end I just said yes , just because it was 25000rs job , then she asked me my adhar card image as proof and ended the call.
After the call I called the first guy who called me up for the job offer and asked about the repayment of 5000 rs if I would be unable to finish the captcha work within 10 days , he said “dont worry sir you are computer since engineer you will easily do that, I will help you” , I said ok… no issues then , just tell me what to work and from when i have to start?
He said i will let you know soon and cut the call. They also made me reply a mail agreement about the same . The next day I messeged the guy in WhatsApp, from when I will start the work , he said tomorrow, I said ok done.
For the next 10 days I dint received any call or any messege regarding any sort of work . After 10 days another different guy calls and simply asks the 5000 rd since you didn’t completed the work and we paid for you . I just said I will not pay you , do whatever you want…
Thereafter few minutes I got a mail from an advocate , which was a legal notice about the same repayment, which totally looked fake .
After all this crap , I blocked all the no.s and mail .
I checked all the no’s and emails in truecaller as a spam , I reported all of them today . Then also I watched a video too in YouTube about the same fraud , and thought to report here.
