I found EZYPG PG Accomodations in Metro Station, B2-105 Greenland Apartments Chakala, J B Nagar, Andheri East, Mumbai on Google Search. There are questions asked on Google account regarding PG services and charges. There is a answer “(Translated by Google) call me 🤙 nine two zero five two six one five four five
(Original)
कॉल me 🤙 नौ दो जीरो पांच दो छः एक पांच चार पांच” to a question “(Translated by Google) What is the pg charge for one month? What is the fee for one month?”
This is answered by Google Account of Ravi Agarwal.
So, I saved and contacted with 9205261545. I am a student of IIT Gandhinagar, I was in Gandhinagar, Gujarat when this scam happened to me.
On May 4th, 2023, I told him (whom I thought to be the owner of the PG) that I need a double-sharing room for me and my classmate from May 14th. He send me four photo of different rooms with PG rent details. On May 5th, 2023, I asked him “Agar ham 14th May ko aayein, toh room available hoga na, booking ke liye?” “Hame Marol Naka Metro station ke pass chahiye”. He replied on WhatsApp, “Booking karo” I though him to be busy and stopped texting him for that day.
I wanted to see the PG building, the locality and roads near by. So, on May 8th, I texted him, “Sir, app EZYPG wali building kaunsi hai bata dijiye.” He called me on whatsApp and asked by name and phone no. to be typed in the chat. I did type my phone number and full name. He then sent me a QR code, which belongs Rohit UPI ID: rohitrohit95300@okhdfcbank on Google Pay. He told me to pay RS 2000 Deposit Amount and Security and Booking Amount and Fully Refundable. He told me to pay the amount because the rooms were filling fast and “WITHOUT BOOKING NOT ENTRY MY PG”, I should pay now even if I am coming on May 14th or 10th. So I paid him through the QR code sent by him an amount of Rs 2000 and then he grew up greedy and asked me to send Rs 1560 more for GST fees. Here, my suspicion begins; there are chances of fraud.
I called him Why this GST charges, it is so high, he said : uske bina appka registration nahi ho sakta, appko on-call hi pay kar dena chahiye Paanch second me return bhi ho jaayega 1560 aur hum Rs 2000 hi lenge. Rs 1560 puri tarah se refund ho jayega.

He was not explaining why this GST charges, but kept repeating that I should pay hi 1560 or 1507 on-call and it will be refunded in five seconds. I was deteremined to not pay him anymore till he explains why? But he was responding very angrily and forcing me to pay the GST charges and saying my booking is 50%done, I should pay the GST charges which will be returned. I was not understanding this GST thing at all, and he was calling rudely again and again. I said I didn’t like his PG services, kindly cancel my booking and refund me 2000 Rs back. He said, “I can’t return without making complete booking done, so you pay me Rs 1560 first and I will pay you back 3560.” I said, “What is the problem in paying me Rs 2000 back and canceling the booking. But, as a fraudster, he kept saying “No no, it is not possible. I can’t pay you Rs 2000 without cancellation you should pay me Rs 1560 first then I will return your complete booking fee.” He said, “It was in regulations, I will not pay you without complete booing.” He did not talk about any regulations before. He was desparate to get the “GST fee” of Rs 1560.
I was telling him that you didn’t share any regulation document and I want my money back as I didn’t like your PG Services and I will book only after coming to your office. Kindly pay the amount back. But he kept preaching his own story that first I have to pay GST charges.
I texted him, “app GST wala system hi samajha dijiye. Apne regulations documents Dikha dijiye.
Ye 1507/ 1560 ka toh chakkar hi Samajh nahi aaya.
Ya apne Senior Manager ka contact de do.
Sir. Location bhejne me appka kya ja raha hai?”

He finally responded, “Mai appko pay nahi kar sakta. Aisa koi chakkar nahi hai, app 1560 pay karein aur apne pure paise vappis le. Ab app chahe Prime Minister ki beti ho, jo regulations hai vo to app maanane padenge, mujhe pahle appki booking complete karne de, tabhi appki booking cancel hogi.” I got to know there is no such procedure followed by real PG owners to take payments before and “GST fee of Rs 1560.” As he was reluctant and talking very bitterly, I was tired of him, and I gain the insight that I got scammed from reading online articles of similar thing happening to other people. But, finally after repeatedly saying that “It seems to be fraud.” He said, “Mai apna ID bhej raha hoon, app dekh lijiyega.” Aur appko fraud lage to apne bhai ko dhitkaar dena.” I thought he would be sending an employee ID of EZYPG, but he sent is his Aadhar Card Anil Kumar Gupta 8435 9975 4243 (I will attach the photo.) I said, “Ye toh India me sabke paas hota hai, isse ye kaise pata chalega ki app PG employee/owner ho??” Mujhe employee ID chahiye thi. But he was saying, “No, Aadhaar is sufficient and legitmate to identify me, you should pay me the “GST fee” now, and refund the amount on cancellation.

But it could not work with me any further. As I was not falling for his demands, his Profile picture got disappeared from WhatsApp, he started deleting our conversation and he deleted some of the pictures he sent.

Now, as a undergraduate, Rs 2000 means a lot to me, and I request the authority to help me get it back. I will be attaching all the evidences and photos/screenshots of his conversation with me whatever and whenever required, I am ready to communicate on this further if the authority wants.
