My Father got text messages about this loan app. He needed the loan so they offered a certain amount with a tenure of 7 days. But without clicking yes or no the loan got transferred to my father’s account. What he didn’t realise was that the service fee was over 70% of the amount that was credited to him. This happened to him 4 times. He paid off the amount because those guys were harassing him for the money and he didn’t tell me all this.
This time though, I answered the call and spoke to the guy on the other side of the phone. The numbers they are using for their WhatsApp conversation have Pakistan code (+92), I didn’t realise it until I spoke to him. His accent sounded like that of normal Pakistanis. Right now they are abusing me over the phone every time they call.
I spoke to the guy and asked for his company’s office address which he refused to give. I asked for the company’s website and again he refused. I was not satisfied and asked him for an alternate payment link so that I can pay the amount the next day and he said they didn’t have any. I asked what was the late fee per day and he didn’t know that either and simply said it’ll be 500-550 rupees which is just idiotic. That’s when I raised my voice and he started abusing me. I checked for the older conversations regarding the previous loan amount and found out he deleted the entire conversation that happened from his end over WhatsApp.
So, I checked online to check about this app and found out there were complaints on the consumer portal daily. This incident happened to me on 27-03-2023 and today again, these guys called me. They are giving all sorts of threats about my family and all. He said he was going to send me his location which I know he’s not going to.
