I have changed my service provider to Jio from Aritel in Aug-18. There were no dues when this transition happened and the migration was approved by Airtel.
Post the migration, I got a call from Airtel that there was an outstanding balance for Rs 506.66. I claimed that the amount was disputed and asked them to send me a statement which was sent on 1-Sep which had 2 attachments (Bill for Aug and running statement attached). The running statement indicated that the amount payable is Rs.182.16! I have made the payment for Rs.183 on 15-Mar-2019, but still Airtel claims that I have an outstanding of Rs.323.66.
In the meanwhile my new operator has suspended my mobile services as they have received a request from the previous operator Airtel to stop the services on your number as there is an unpaid due of Rs. 506.66. As per MNP regulation, services on the Jio Number have been restricted on account of the unpaid dues.
Please take this up with the Airtel so that my services are restored asap.
