Text of Complaint by Jayamma:

Dear Concerned,
I am Jayamma aged 57 years resident of Davanagere complaining about non transfer of sim/mobile number ownership from my deceased husband VS Hiremath to my name Jayamma.
My mobile number stopped working on 4 January 2023, i visited airtel office on AVK college road, Davanagere for sim not working. Store executive checked my number and informed me to bring aadhar of decesed person and aadhar of person taking transfer. I visited store againg on 5 Jan 2023 along with documents but they told if this transfer processed from AVK college road branch it will take 3 to 4 days so visit Madipet head office, Davanagere for transfer process there it will be processed within 2 working days.

On 6 Jan 2023 i visited airtel head office in madipet, Davanagere they told Aadhar is not sufficient to transfer we need Death certificate, Family tree. I gathered all required documents and again on 10 January 2023, on visit they told they don’t have application form so come tomorrow as we don’t have any printer to print application form.

As per the documents requested by airtel store manger and their team i have submitted death certificate, Family tree (vamsha vruksha), Aadhar of deceased person (VS Hiremath), Aadhar of Jayamma and application form given from airtel store by the manager on 12th January 2023. For this transfer request we didn’t receive any acknowledgment of complaint number of request number. The manager told us we will call once the transfer is complete.

I have been visiting airtel store every alternate day to check status of the process as i am not getting any calls from the store manager of any of their team. Every time the manager and team tell we don’t know how many days it will take we have processed from our end. Every time i need to spend 150 rupees for auto and i have to sit there for at least 1 hour waiting for the manager. For a women of my age has to visit so many times and spend so much money and time for a small job is it fair?

The peoples are intentionally humiliating me and making fun of me on every visit. Loosing my husband is loss for me now for the same i have to get humiliated from peoples? I have to live with these kind of mental torture and harassments from the big company and their employee?
