I have been associated with Airtel since a long time. Always used the postpaid services and dth.
From past 2-3 months the data reduction from my internet quota has increased rapidly. Earlier I used to watch netflix, Amazon, other videos and lot of surfing but my data was never flushed out so rapidly.
I think your team has really made best use of the opportunity, where they know that people are mostly relied on the internet services during lockdown months. Hence, they have made such changes, so that the customer is either forced to take a booster or upgrade their plan. Rather than being considerate by offering benefits to the customer, these kind of tricks has been used to pressurize the customer.
I do understand that the end you are running a business but at the same time I understand that with such huge client base you and your team doesn’t need to get into such cheap tricks.
Now for instance, if I just talk about the unused data transfer that happens at the time of bill generation. On 6th my bill was generated, I checked my unused data balance today around 11 am, it was over 7gb. But what was transferred only 5.6. It doesn’t end there, I checked it again and as per your billing team i have already used 1.3 gb within 2 hours. Today also, when I checked it in morning it was 14 gb and at 7 pm it’s 11 gb. Wherein on some days I don’t use complete 1gb in whole 24 hours.
These unreasonable deductions have forced me to restrict my usage to just my office work and no other streaming.
During such testing time, this was the last thing a customer can expect, who has been associated for decades now.
I will now wait to see, how much a loyal customer means to you or is your email is just one of those spam emails that I keep getting.
