I have received ivr call on September 11 at 10:25pm. It told me some one is trying to access my account and to prevent that unauthorized transaction it ask me to enter option 1 and for confirmation it sends otp in that call. After entering that otp one transaction happened in my mobkiwik zip paylater account. I lost 50504 rupees immediately from my zip pay later account and I have immediately reported that transaction as fraud and sent email to fraudalerts@mobikwik.com. they replied like “We would like to inform you that we have taken necessary action and blocked your wallet for further misuse. Also, we would like to let you know that the whole amount is utilized in the services, and we are unable to process the refund from our end.
For further beneficiary/Utilization details we request you to kindly provide the FIR copy/complaint copy, or you can register your complaint at cybercrime.gov.in. So that we can take this up with the concerned merchant for cancellation wherever possible OR you can contact your nearest cyber cell/Police/LEA’s and ask them to mail us from their official mail ID for further investigation.”
So, I have raised a complained in cyber cell and shared complaint copy to mibikwik and waiting for their reply.
