I was searching for the cook on Quikr and this company contacted me through Whatsapp. I asked for the cook, and the service person shared two profiles with me: Arti Kumari and Sujata Roy. Then, this person started asking me for money. At first, I paid 1599/- as the security money. He shared with me the terms and conditions. Then, again he asked me for 999+900 as the trial service charge for Quicker. I thought it would be Quikr, but again I was asked for the second trial payment, of Rs. 999/-. Then my doubt started growing. I was compelled to pay this otherwise the cook’s details wouldn’t be shared. I have paid all the money, and they are not providing me the payment receipt or proof that I have booked for Sujata Roy, the cook. Then, I started googling and found that the profile shared with me for Sujata Roy is wrong, the lady’s name is Abita Devi.
