Hi,
My Name is Ketaki Madhav Bam.
In 2018 , I came across an advertisement in daily about personal loan & hence I approached the franchise name – Parasmoney , Swargate Pune. copy of PAN & My payslips were submitted to apply for a loan in HDFC bank. After few days I was informed that my loan was denied & documents were retained by bank for record keeping.
After about a year I started getting calls from HDFC that My EMI was due for personal loan. I was quite surprised since I did not have any Personal account. Further upon checking details with HDFC Shankar Sheth Road branch , I was shocked that my documents were misused for Loan application of MR BK Kumar ? ( I don’t know who this person) & they claimed I/ was guarantor for him.
I filled complaint against HDFC bank in the police station. Upon Police investigation it was established that they neither contacted me for verification nor did they verify with me before disbursement. So it was miss use of my documents by their people & they promised that they will rectify my cibil report & remove my name from their Loan as a guarantor since I do not know the person & I never signed any form.
After 7 years now the same loan account is reflecting on my Cibil account which is shocking that they suppressed this for a while & again have involved me in the loan which I have not taken nor do I know the person.
Please assist me , as I feel helpless & I/ think I should file a law suit against HDFC for giving me financial as well as mental trouble & they have malign my image since I only have loan accounts with axis bank & I am very particular about paying it on time.
