Text of Complaint by Gajendran Bellam:

Last evening (20th Jun), I visited @Lifestyle_Store at VR Mall in Chennai. There was an offer on Park Avenue brand (Buy 2 Get 2). Based on that offer, I selected four shirts, but the salesperson convinced me to buy more shirts, saying that there was a 50% discount on each purchase after four pieces. Finally, I selected seven shirts and proceeded to the billing counter. Surprisingly, the billing staff bluntly said that there was no such offer for the Park Avenue brand. The available offer was Buy 3 and Get 2 only. After much debate, the manager in charge of pricing came up and stated that the offer had changed from 7 PM based on their HQ or Decision-making team.

It seems that the staff also didn’t care about the changes in the price, and their approach was “If you like it, buy it or leave the store.”

The lesson learned is that Lifestyle stores don’t have control or transparency over the pricing part, and it’s a waste of time for the end customer who spends a lot of time selecting the material/garments.
