On 19.04.2022, I have received a call from a lady called Priyanka Singh who claimed herself to be a representative of cred-mart asking me if I would require any OD to which I said “NO”. The lady still insisted me to take the OD but I told her that there were previous settlements in a loan and two credit cards. To which she asked me have one year passed after settlement. I said yes. Then she said that this will not be a problem and she also told me be on hold so that she can confirm the same from his senior. I agreed and waited. She confirmed and asked me to provide me KYC, Income Documents and some personal details. I again told her that please do not put an enquiry in my CIBIL as it will impact if the loan does not go through. She said do not worry, the loan will go through. As I was travelling, I could not provide the documents within the next few days. She kept on messaging and calling for the documents to which I replied that I will be back on 27.04.2022 and after that will provide the documents. On 27.04.2022 I provide the documents to her and she called back and said my case has been logged into Bajaj Finance and that loan of around 5.50 lacs will be sanctioned. She also said that the credit manager will call me for verification, so, tell that you need it for personal reasons. I told her that I need it as a back-up if case of medical emergency and I will say that only.
Yesterday, i.e. 28.04.2022, Bajaj Finance has rejected my case which will negatively impact CIBIL.
When I tried to call up the lady today, she did not pick up. I dropped her a message stating that I will be compelled to complain against her organisation for misleading me and taking my KYC which I do not know can be used for any purposes.
To this she replied that the case is rejected because of negative area and asked me why I didn’t tell her that. I told her that other loans of mine and others in the area are running from other banks/NBFCs.
Now, I will have to suffer the impact on my CIBIL due to Cred-mart misleading its customers.
I request my CIBIL impact to be taken care by them to which they turned deaf years and replied that make regular payments and your CIBIL score will go up.
