Hello,
I selected 3 products from biotigue brand in my cart. Beauty related. All the 3 products were from same supplier & category & appeared in one order but due to reasons I waited to place the order.
In few minutes, one product selected ran out of stock. In two hours it was back in stock, so I selected it to place my order.
To my surprise, my selected products were spilit into orders & I was required to pay delivery charges on both the orders. It wasn’t the case few minutes back though. Which was absurd & made no sense to me as a customer.
I immediately called CS & spoke to agent khuram, who asked me to send screenshots, which I did & the call lasted for an hour approx. He assured me it was a technically issue with system & will be highlighting the issue to warehouse to rectify as the products should fall in same category & must b one order as before. . I was told to wait for 2 hours to rectify the issue & then can place the order.
After 5 hours, i tried to check & place the order but nothing was sorted. I again chatted with agents on chat as was passed from one to another 4 times with different agents but all in vain & was called by a 4 agent. He again asked me to send fresh screenshots, which I did.
Finally, he concluded that nothing can be done. I requested the agent, to simply waive off the delivery charges on both orders to resolve their internal system issue. He refused stating not authorized.
I requested for a manager to help but was told no managers available & can only arrange a call back from manager after he resumes his shift tomorrow in night.
I didn’t want to wait that long fearing the product may get out of stock again. Without any help or option, I placed both the orders by paying a delivery charge of ₹25 on one order & increase the qty on second order for ₹179 to avoid a delivery charge. I ended up paying ₹204 extra just to place a simple order with Amazon for no fault of mine.
I received a call back the following night by an escalation team agent.. Who failed to understand the issue faced by me & only spoke of what made sense to him, which was complete senseless.
I later just asked him to compensate for the issue with watever extra I paid coz of their misinformation, false promise, a wait of 8 hours out of which I spent 5 hours speaking and chatting with them & sending repeatedly screenshots & the hassle I went through as a customer unnecessarily.
The agent refused & said can’t help or solve the issue now & since I’m not happy about nothing being done can complaint on google.
I must say, a highly unprofessional behaviour & policy as justified by agents.
Amazon not only has left one of their old valued customer dissatisfied but also asked indirectly to look for other online retailers. I wasted 6-8 hours just to place a simple 3 products from biotigue brand with Amazon.
It’s really a shame that no one in Amazon either bothered or cared to help or compensate me for all the hassles. A worst experience till date from any online portals.
Since I believe Amazon is a huge & reputed company, I thought will make a complaint for them to learn & help me if possible.
