Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention a serious matter of consumer rights violation involving Shine.com, a prominent online job portal. I am filing this complaint seeking your intervention and assistance in resolving the issues I have faced as a consumer.
On [Date], I registered on Shine.com with the expectation of accessing their services to enhance my job prospects. During the registration process, there was an understanding with the Shine.com team regarding certain specific terms, which unfortunately were not adhered to. I would like to highlight the following grievances:
1. **Miscommunication:** Despite having communicated my preferences and requirements to the Shine.com team, there was a significant miscommunication that occurred. The services offered to me did not align with the terms we had initially agreed upon, leading to a mismatch in my expectations and the actual services provided.
2. **Unauthorized Charge:** I explicitly communicated to the Shine.com team that I did not wish to activate any premium services and that they should not process any payment or deposit any checks into my bank account. However, to my shock, I discovered that an unauthorized charge of Rs. 10,000 was deducted from my account. This unauthorized financial transaction has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain.
3. **Product Activation:** In addition to the unauthorized charge, my account was charged for the activation of a product that I had specifically requested to be halted. This demonstrates a disregard for customer preferences and a lack of transparency in the company’s dealings.
Given the aforementioned grievances, I would like to request the following actions:
1. An immediate refund of the unauthorized charge of Rs. 10,000 that was deducted from my account.
2. The deactivation of any products or services associated with my account, as I have no intention of utilizing services that were activated against my wishes.
3. Adequate compensation for the mental distress, inconvenience, and financial strain I have suffered due to the unauthorized charge and mishandling of my account.
I have made multiple attempts to contact Shine.com’s customer support to resolve these issues, but my concerns have not been adequately addressed. Hence, I am seeking the assistance of the Consumer Court to rectify this situation and ensure that consumer rights are protected.
Enclosed with this letter are copies of relevant communication, bank statements indicating the unauthorized charge, and any other supporting documents necessary to validate my complaint.
I kindly request the Consumer Court to expedite the proceedings of this case and provide a fair resolution in accordance with consumer protection laws. I am prepared to fully cooperate throughout this process to ensure a just outcome.
