I have installed an application which gives loan based on the cibil score
After installing the app and to proceed with the formalities of loan I have given the access to my files , contacts and SMS
After the formalities like kyc and photo kyc I have seen the loan details and found that they are offering 3500 rupees loan in which 2100 will be credited and 1400 will be processing fee and other charges
I found that this is not what I was looking for so instead of proceeding with the further process I have opted out and uninstalled the application
After 5 days I got a call from “+918899487715” ,and in that call an executive said that there where 3 loan processed for me on the day when I installed the application and threatened me to make the payment of rupees 10,000
After the call I have Goan through with my bank statement and I found that they have really initiated 3 loans in my profile without my consent and each loan is of 3500 , where as in my bank account i received only 2100 thrice which sums to 6,300 and in order to close that loan I have to pay 10,500
After all this details came in front of me all of a sudden I got a message in WhatsApp from a number which is registered in Sri Lanka ( +94 71 585 1471 ) and threatened me to make all the payments within couple of hours else he will post my photo, pan and other details in social media using a hashtag #indianprimeloanthife
And he also contacted one of my friend using my contact details and tried to damage my reputation in order to build pressure on me
