I am writing to formally report a serious issue involving highly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior by a recruiter/employee associated with the naukri.com platform.
I received a call on 06/02/2026 at 3:39 PM from the mobile number +91 9988505424 regarding a job opportunity. The call was initiated from the recruiter’s side.
During the call, when I politely informed her that I do not have any reference at the moment, she started unnecessarily pressuring me to provide one. I also clearly mentioned that I have provided references earlier on the naukri.com platform and have never faced such behavior before. This is the first time such an incident has occurred with me on naukri.com.
When I explained that if I had a direct company reference, I would naturally use it for my own benefit, her behavior became inappropriate and unprofessional.
The recruiter used insulting and derogatory language and made personal remarks by calling me stupid and illiterate. She also passed humiliating comments on my physical appearance by calling me bald after viewing my resume photograph. Additionally, she made inappropriate character-related remarks by calling me greedy. She then continued with irrelevant, topic-less, and unnecessary conversation that had no connection with the job opportunity and caused mental distress.
Naukri.com is a professional job portal where job seekers expect respectful, ethical, and skill-based hiring interactions. Judging candidates based on appearance, using insulting language, and pressuring candidates for references is completely against professional recruitment standards and negatively impacts the credibility of the platform.
This incident is a very serious matter for me and my self-respect. The language used and personal remarks made against me were deeply insulting and caused mental harassment.

I have a screenshot of the incoming call from the above-mentioned number along with call history showing an approximate 15-minute call duration, which I am ready to provide for verification and investigation.
I request naukri.com to thoroughly investigate this matter and take strict and appropriate action against the concerned recruiter/employee.
