I had registered with Metawyn on 23rd June by paying a refundable deposit of Rs.19900 for data entry work assignments and have also submitted the first assignment immediately given to me on the date they specified i.e. 30th Aug. Employee Id given to me was EM20214.
Since there was no news further on the submitted work assignments, I wanted the company to pay back my refundable deposit amount of Rs.19900 that was paid initially during registration. I repeatedly sent mails asking for status but there was no reply from Metawyn.
I had sent them the screenshots of the paid deposit amount and the application form submitted for their reference.
Now their website is showing a message that due to covid-19 they are temporarily not available. This message is displayed for almost 2 month now. Their mailbox is full. No one is replying back.
I have their company website and other details captured initially. Will attach it here.
Now today while surfing in internet, I came through a company named “Paroma Netcom Pvt. Ltd.”, on opening the site I found all details same as was in the former company, like the director Name – M. Ventatammah, same testimonials, same bank account details. It is also registered under MCA. The pic of the director keeps changing though.
It seems after every 2-3 months they open up this fraud business in some other name and extort money from work seekers.

I had registered with Metawyn Systems Pvt. Ltd. based in Hyderabad on July 4, 2021 for home based data entry work. I paid a refundable deposit of Rs.19,900 for the same, to be refunded within 2 months. I was issued Employee Id EM20219.
I was assigned data entry work to be completed and submitted by Aug 10, 2021. I submitted the completed assignment on July 11, 2021 and sent a follow up email on Aug 11, 2021. However, I never received any response from them. Nor did they refund the initial deposit of Rs.19,900. Subsequently, a notice was put up on their website that their offices are temporarily closed due to Covid and will remain closed till further notice.
Now I find that the website has been brought down and all traces of the company have been removed.This is a very clear case of online fraud. Also, as already reported by another victim here, they seem to have opened another company “Paroma Netcom Pvt. Ltd.” (https://paromanetcom.com) with similar modus operandi and with the intention of defrauding many more needy and gullible people.
