Hey, I used to take loans from MPOKKET an online application for lending money to the needful. And I used to pay them on time and everything was going well before the pandemic hits us all. And when the lockdown was implemented, a loan of rs 5k was not paid back by me. And now it has been a year when I get to know that they have stolen all of my information which was on my device, through their application. Now they’re threatening me, my relatives, and my friends regarding the non payment. They’ve done cyber bullying by stealing my information, they threatening me on calls and telling me that we are sending our collection agents to you and your parents. Looked out for the RBI help portal but didn’t find any useful information regarding this NBFC.
They are calling me, my friends repeatedly and saying us to make the payment asap or else we will send collection agents to your house and you know how they are.
This is all that mental harassment and threat. Something should be done against these types of companies as they cannot just steal the information and threat you like this, calling all of your contacts. This is all that mental harassment.
