Offer -The company called us and e-mailed us about an attractive offer of ₹21,000 per week,with just 2 hours of work each day and they said we could leave job whenever we like by just informing them.
Job-It was cumbersome,so,we did not even continue it for 1 day and decided to stop it.
Harassment– •When we called repeatedly,they did not answer it at that time.
•Then,we e-mailed them. •Then,they called us that when you are winding up,you have to pay ₹6,200.
•We disagreed stating that it was not mentioned during the call.
•They said that we had signed the agreement letter, though we did not sign any agreement letter.
•They said it was a digital signature where our IMEI,sim and IP address were verified.
•They were repeatedly increasing price and said it was ₹6,900 and said if we do not pay we will have to go to court and pay ₹1.50 lacs as liability and they will file an FIR.
Anxiety -Thus,we were very anxious and scared that we were legally bound to pay and we were afraid of disclosing it to family (though,please contact your family if you are in problem ,it will be best as they maybe more experienced in identifying such scammers).
•They built pressure by sending us legal (soft copy of warning notice. and saying we have to pay liability of ₹1.50 lakhs if we delay anymore.
Corrective Measure
•We did not give in to their pressure.
•We delayed in paying,thus helping us reflect on its’ genuinity.
•We saw youtube videos which made us realise it might be scam, helping us to avoid it.
Scam.
•Because,no proper business model and no proper earning plan for them(if they will not earn,how will they pay us).
•Found existing reports against it on this site.
•Saw the number from which they were calling, it was reported Scam on truecaller.
