This is another scam created by Meesho.
There is no logic how a barcoded courier bag can protect the packed item inside from being lost or compromised by courier partner or wrongly returned by customer.
Its just a courier bag which is used for packaging. There is no guarantee. The sale of these bags are being promoted at the cost of denying wrong returns and RTOs claims of suppliers.
Since the day this notion has been launched by Meesho, The sellers who are not using barcoded packages are receiving more wrong returns and more wrong items in RTO.
Its clearly a scam.
Even if a seller dispatch orders in these barcoded package then what?
It gets delivered to customer. If customer says wrong item then it would be returned basically wrong item returned to seller (may be the item was swapped by logistics or customer itself- we all know how this works). So a seller still needs to upload unpacking video and images. 9 out of 10 videos get rejected by Meesho as they have to deny your claims. and this promotes another scam called CLAIM PROTECTION ASSURANCE where sellers have to invest some fund and this programme claims to approve 80% claim.
Isn’t it simple math. Pooling fund and then circulating disbursements for wrong returns parcels to sellers and it would affect nothing to courier companies and Meesho. They are simply allocating fund.
So this promotion basically to sell barcoded packages. its a total scam and it comes with another package deal CLAIM PROTECTION PLAN.
