Received a letter yesterday from Meesho online shopping pvt Ltd indicating I have won a scratch card as part of their 6th Anniversary celebration. In that scratch card, I had won cash 7.5L. When enquired from Customer care of Meesho, they said their is no such campaign they have started. I purposefully called the Helpline number mentioned in the letter and they asked to transfer 9.5k as part of TDS post which they gonna transfer 7.5L directly into my bank account for which I refused. Kindly look into the fraud as someone might get cheated.

yes we also got the same mail, and i was scrolling online to check its validity and am grateful that i saw this post. thank you for sharing this, hope action gets taken against this.
I too got similar letter. But luckily I checked online to verify and found that it is a fraud
When I received the letter I was like really does meesho send like this to customers and when i scratched the coupon it says i won 7.5 lakhs and i did not got amazed or happy bcz if its fake why i should be sad….then to just confirm whether its genuine i just search about it and and found its fake…the same happened with many…..thank you…for sharing the experience you all had… I request everyone to just search about things like this whether they are real or not before transferring any sum of money.
I also got the same today, i am not surprised. this kind of cheating is happening nowadays. eg: online lottery. Just read the point ” All charges and Govt taxes will be collected in advance from the customer” in the letter. It will come a big amount” as per the gift money. First, I checked with meesho customer care and their website. there is no this kind of celebration. Beware of this kind of cheating.
We got this kind of letter just now. I suspected the first prize Mahindra XUV ??.
I got the letter today and i won 10.5L
