Mark as Resolved

I am writing in utter exasperation regarding my ASUS G513RM-HQ271WS (Serial No: N3NRKD02372809C). Frankly, the relentless cycle of temporary fixes and technician visits—with over 13 RMAs—has become intolerable. I have attached detailed, timestamped videos demonstrating the following persistent and worsening issues:

Sleep Mode Failure: The system frequently fails to wake from sleep mode—a long-reported problem that has intensified, indicating severe firmware or hardware deficiencies.

GPU Error Inhibiting Heavy Software: Despite prior troubleshooting, a persistent GPU error continues to block the execution of any demanding software, suggesting a potential underlying GPU failure.

Excessively Late & Failed Restarts: The unit now takes over 5–6 minutes to restart, with occasional complete restart failures, exposing deep-seated system instability.

Delayed / Failed Boot-Ups: The laptop intermittently fails to boot or takes an unreasonably long time to start, raising significant concerns about its overall reliability.

System Overheating: The CPU reaches 96–97°C and the GPU exceeds 90°C during normal operation, which is unacceptable and indicative of dangerous internal faults.

Keyboard Malfunction: Certain keys frequently fail to register inputs, making typing erratic and unreliable. At times, the keyboard becomes completely unresponsive, forcing me to restart the system repeatedly. This is yet another critical hardware failure that adds to the long list of persistent defects in this unit.

Recurring Blue Screen Errors (BSODs): Frequent blue screen crashes further underscore critical system instability.

Touchpad Malfunction: The touchpad sporadically fails to register inputs, causing system unresponsiveness.

Escalating Screen Flickering: The deterioration of the display flicker issue now renders the screen unreliable.

Alarming Fan Noises: Previously reported excessive fan noise has escalated to hazardous, spark-like sounds that severely jeopardize internal safety.

System Freezes & Keyboard Lag: Unexplained freezes and sluggish keyboard responsiveness occur even under minimal load, further attesting to the unit’s unacceptability.

This laptop has suffered numerous component failures, including:

LCD malfunction

Adapter failure

Touchpad issues

Fan malfunction

Motherboard replaced twice

Windows corruption requiring repairs

Multiple hard resets (2–3 times)

Despite my efforts in documenting every issue, sending countless emails, and going through repeated service requests, ASUS has failed to deliver a functional and reliable product. This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, exposing ASUS’s inability to rectify the defects in its own hardware.

I refer you to the clear stipulations outlined on the ASUS website, which state:

It is explicitly stated that if service centers fail to rectify the defect, the system—being beyond repair—qualifies for either a replacement or a refund, depending on stock availability. Furthermore, if the system undergoes multiple service attempts for the same issue without a lasting solution, ASUS is required to offer a replacement unit instead of continuing ineffective repairs . (Asus Warranty)

Attached below is the job sheet from March 26, where I initially reported boot-up failures. As a result, the motherboard was replaced, yet the issue remained unresolved despite this major hardware intervention. This is undeniable proof that ASUS’s attempt at resolving the issue was ineffective, and the core problem persists.

It is deeply frustrating that this case has now been dragged out for over two months without ASUS providing any real support or lasting resolution. Despite multiple service attempts and supposed “fixes, ” the laptop continues to exhibit critical failures. Instead of solving the problem, each new attempt has only wasted more of my time. As a direct consequence, I have been forced to file 13 RMA requests, which is excessive, unreasonable, and frankly unacceptable.

Conclusion: ASUS Has Failed to Service This Laptop Properly
At this point, the facts speak for themselves—after repetitive repair attempts, ASUS has failed to restore this unit to a fully functional state. The continued cycle of ineffective fixes proves that the laptop cannot be serviced adequately and is exhibiting fundamental defects that make it unfit for normal usage.

This is no longer a minor inconvenience—it has become a major disruption, affecting my productivity and wasting significant amounts of time.

Repeated component replacements, resets, and technician visits have failed to resolve the problem, proving that this laptop is beyond repair.

ASUS is obligated to honor its own warranty terms, which clearly state that multiple failed repairs qualify the device for a replacement or refund.

At this stage, further attempts at repairing the unit are nothing but a pointless formality. ASUS must acknowledge its failure to provide an effective solution and proceed with a full replacement or refund without delay. I demand immediate action and a final resolution, not another cycle of temporary fixes that lead nowhere.

I’m sick and tired of repeatedly sending emails, documenting endless failures, and escalating issues—only to be ignored or given useless temporary fixes. Shame on ASUS for dragging this case for months instead of owning up to its faulty product.

I’ve wasted countless hours of both my professional and personal time, taking multiple days off work just to deal with this never-ending nightmare. The harassment and inconvenience caused by this faulty device is beyond explanation.

Who will compensate for the time, effort, and mental exhaustion this product has inflicted on me? ASUS’s negligence has cost me valuable working hours, caused unnecessary disruptions, and led to frustration that no customer should ever face. This is more than just a defective unit—it’s a failure of responsibility, and I refuse to tolerate it any longer.

[The replacement unit must come with full warranty coverage—I refuse to take the risk of dealing with another defective product without proper protection. If needed, I am willing to pay for an extended warranty, but a replacement without coverage is absolutely unacceptable.]

I’ve had enough. I refuse to waste more time dealing with this cycle of failure. ASUS must take immediate responsibility and provide a final resolution—either a full replacement or a refund. No more delays.

I expect a prompt response with a definitive resolution.
