I am the tenant and have been paying my electricity bill regularly. However the bill I received for the month of June is more than three times my usual bill. The bill copy I received states that my previous 3 months (March, April & May) meter reading has been revised without any intimation or having my presence while the executive noted the readings of previous months.
After getting in touch with the electricity supplier M/s. Adani Electricity’s customer service they mentioned that those are genuine charges and I am liable to pay it. As they have revised bill without any prior intimation or the consumer’s presence at the meter reading time for March, April & May, months this kind of behavior is fishy and manipulating.
Hence I request the authorities to order the revision of bill amount as I have already paid the bills of the previous months as received then & now I shall be liable to pay only for the month of June 2020. Also going forward the authorized executive should have the consumer presence at the time of meter reading to avoid any kind of manipulations.
I really look forward for an fair action on this with all due respect.
