Hi, I purchased my health policy from Manipal Signa in 2019, and every year, I have renewed the policy and never submitted any claim.
This year I have renewed the same. In May I received calls from Manipal Signa for Topup to double the insurance amount for me and my wife.
I have purchased the topup for a year. As a regular process, they have called me and asked different questions regarding my and my wife’s health. I have shared all the relevant details that I have already shared with the Manipal during the purchase of my Policy.
I have declared that my wife has polio in his limb, and they have asked me for a soft copy of the certificate. I have shared the same with them. Suddenly they canceled my both policy the topup and the base policy that I have continued for the last three years.
I have called customer care and they said I have not disclosed my polio status before.
I have argued with him that every year they have called me after renewal of my policy and asked the health-related question and I already told them every time regarding the polio status.
But they said there is no update on the same on their system. I have asked for a refund of my payment, but they denied refunding my money.
Please look into this, it is completely a fraud to me that after three years they rejected my policy. And also not interested in a refund.
I want all three years money back.
Request you to please look into this.
