Text of Complaint by Rajashekar:

Chose unlimited data 999 plan of airtel with unlimited data at 200mbps on Dec 2, 2020.

On or about 15th dec few flats using airtel broadband services in riddhi tower, Malad East faced internet issues including mine. On Dec 16th I lodged a SR. A technician totally ill equipped to handle was sent who saw the speed, tried and  tweeked a few wires in the modem as well as the main junction box. He informed there has been new connection wherein my line has been tampered with. He also stated there is an IP mismatch and that backend team will get in touch. No one has had curtosy to even call to enquire nor rectify the situation. With great difficulty I got hold of Mr. Sunil senior Team Leader and Mr. Alok Team Leader. Since no one was bothered at lower level, escalated the issue with Sunil on Dec 19 th who took the relevant technician of the area Mr. Manoj on concall and took an assurance from him that the issue would be resolved the same day before 4pm. He was even given a dressing down for keeping a complaint alive without resolution for more than 3 days. Nothing has happened till date of this complaint.

Due to the above negligence, my daughters could not give their online exams nor are able to attend their classes.

I have had to use personal data and connect thru hotspot for my important court hearings.

I have incurred losses totalling to Rs. 50000/- from the 16th till date and my family has gone through immense mental harassment. It was an official unit test.

It is to be seen here that the telecom companies including airtel shamelessly follow up for their monthly bills when they themselves do not provide good services nor after sales services, why should the customers pay for deficiency in services.

I hereby request you to look into the matter and help resolve and order for payment of the damages of rs. 50000/- forthwith.
