I had booked a Europe holiday package for travel from 01st April,,2020 with booking ID – NL2200152181330
I had paid two installments for the same post which Covid situation happened and my trip got cancelled. I was intimated that a free date change will be given for which date of travel was given for 22nd July,2020 which again got cancelled due to Covid situation.
Post that, I had several rounds of communication with MMT representative Mr. Chongtham Gadodhar, who initially intimated me that my package will be kept on hold and I can opt for a future travel date any time. Post the interactions, I was also told that airfare cancellation charges will be applicable in case I cancel my package and the rest will be refunded to me.
At a later stage, I was communicated by him that the airlines have refunded the amount to MMT, however some tax amount is deducted.
I kept on following up with Mr.Chonghtam Gandodhar who kept on making false pretexts that he is trying to discuss the case within his team and will get back.
Last communication by him was given by him on 12th November,2020 in which he is forcing to select a future travel date and also that he will be getting back on the actual refund in case of cancellation.
Post this, I have sent him multiple emails as a follow-up to which he has refused to revert.
I have tried to call him on phone, to which he picked up but as soon as he got to know about me, he disconnected the call and refused to pick up again.
I am facing immense harassment due to this kind of approach by MMT representatives and unable to understand on the refusal to communicate on honest grounds with the client.
