On 17th Nov, I booked 7 tickets for travel from Ahmedabad to Varanasi on 18th Nov and returning from Varanasi to Ahmedabad on 19th Nov. An amount of RS 91,288 was deducted from my card.
Immediately after I booked the ticket, makemytrip automatically cancelled my booking. However, only 69,114 was refunded to my card.
There is no customer-care number where we can raise the complain… its only the automated chat-bot which keeps saying that the booking has been cancelled from my end.
This is complete fraud. I had to travel to Varanasi for last rites of my mother-in-law… we actually made the trip by booking the same flight again. So there was no reason for me to cancel my booking. The cancellation was a technical glitch from Makemytrip’s software… however, I am penalized for the same.
I would sincerely request to facilitate getting my balance refund back
