I have booked my train ticket on make my trip app on 13 March 2022 under Booking id NR7200259662487021 and Pnr 2818052800. The sum amount of train ticket was INR 2432.23, this includes the free cancellation charge of INR 210. Now on 19 March 2022 I had change in travel plans, so I cancelled the booking on their mobile app and got an update that booking stands cancelled, as per the attachment. Today I was cross checked my bank account and did not found any such refund, so I checked their mobile app again, now the same booking is shown under completed bookings section with cancelled status and no option to raise refund or complaint. I found this situation I little dicey, so I immediately called IRCTC helpline number 07554090600 and to my surprise this booking was never cancelled by Make My Trip. Since connecting to Make My Trip call center and get a hold of a human being is next to impossible, so I have raised the complainant on their social media accounts and received no response in 24 hours. Therefore I think this free cancellation clause is big fraudulent activity and I seek a full refund.
