I have booked a flight and from maldives to singapore and I was not borded the flight due to in country regulations.
As per the airlines they where trying to reach me to update on transit regulations but my email id was provided correctly rather they have provided info mmt email address to srilankan airlines.
Becoz of this miscommunication I was not been non border the flight by srilankan airlines.
After hours of discussion with airline crew I called MMT hotline and explained,
The people spoke was useless they don’t the internal rules and conveyed that I don’t have transist visa due to that I wa been on border on the call I sent the immigration rules and then they changed statement as no show since airlines has been updated we can give a partial amount if we cancell now and then they have not done and later I called again and said I cannot get single penny due to no show.
Becoz of the MMT internal issues and their staff lack of knowledge I lost my money and time during covid situation where in different to travel for passages internationally.
After a week some one from MMT called me and said are talking to refund and one fine they closed the ticket without any info.
Now I am contacting helpline by selecting the canceled ticket IVR is not allowing me to talk to customer officer.
And email if drop getting automatic reply that the ticket is closed and not monitoring any emails.
Hope less services.
