Hi, I have taken membership in Club Mahindra in 2011. I have paid the total member ship amount of 2.2 lakhs. Along with this, I have been paying Anual Subscription Fee (ASF) every year which started at 9681.00 annually and was increasing annually, and now it is around 15,000 plus.
I requested cancellation on 10th October 2019. I have paid an amount of almost 85,000 till then in the form of ASF. So the total amount I paid is 3 lakhs approx.
I was clearly told that ASFs will be waved even if my decision for cancelation stands true later. That is the reason I have not paid the ASFs since then. I was also clearly told that this point has been clearly noted in their records.
Since then, every time I try to call and ask the status of the cancelation, they always just say that it is your hard-earned money. You should try this, you should try that, instead of canceling you should transfer to someone, etc. This was being pushed since then. I am not sure what refund I will get but now I am totally frustrated with this system. Though Mahindra is a very big brand in India, I am sorry to say, Club Mahinda is a fraud as per my understanding. There is no effective support team or policies which are favorable to customers. I feel it is a looting organization, which has looted my 3+ lakhs of the amount and not providing any solution for cancelation. They neither want to cancel the membership nor want to refund a single penny. They are now saying I have not paid the ASF for the last 4 years so I will not get any refund.
I want to complain about this as I understand it is not just me there are thousands of people who are facing issues.
