Text of Complaint by Chaitanya:

I have redeemed my gift card amount of 5000/- Rs before it expired and the amount is transfer into the account. I have seen the amount in my amazon balance. I thought to use that amount later when required. But now when I want to use this amount to purchase something from amazon, it is showing as Zero balance.

I called to couple of your customer executives for couple of times and every time i hear some new story. First time it was told that as card date expired the balance became zero. But your executive said he will initiate this balance again and will send me a mail and i need to use this amount in next 1 month. But i didn’t receive any mail. He gave me a case id also which he rasied. This is them ID 0514126941.

Second time again I called and i need to explain the whole story to second person as he said he didn’t find any information on my details. He again requested me some details and I had to get the person on call who gave me the gift card and verify his details. This is very embarrassing. Later he said I will get a mail in 48 hrs but that all so didn’t happen.

Third time i had a call with some lady and i had to repeat the same things with her and she says there is not such information available with her. And she simply says you cannot get the amount and she cannot do anything.

I am really fedup with the response from the executives as every time i call i need to explain them for 15 min and later everyone come up with different solutions where non of them match to previous ones.
