Had received this ad on Face book . To check further, I went through their app where they asked to submit my Aadhar & PAN to check loan eligibility. However after submitting the required documents, they showed some small loan amounts with 6 days repayment & nearly double the sanction amount. I have not provided my consent, neither did I apply for any product. In fact, I immediately deleted the app. Next day I seen some credit in my a/c of Rs.1540/- from some Maa Laxmi Bhandar. I had no clue what this payment was. Next day on 11th Oct, I receive call from one number saying that I have to repay loan amount of Rs.2800/- towards loan disbursement of 1540/-. I confronted the caller saying that I have not applied for any loan & how can anybody transfer funds without my consent. He started becoming rude & said that they will pass on case to Recovery agent & they will use my Photo & details on social media with demeaning posts. I have then lodged online Crime report on National cyber crime portal – cybercrime.gov.in providing all the details available with me. I have also received acnowledegment no.21910220075741& case has been sent to Kasarvadivli Police station. I have also met the cyber crime dept at Kasarvadivli police station & lodged complaint with attaching all required documents. They will be next working on the case & the Investigation Inspecter will be dealing with it thereon
